Pilates is a system of exercises designed to improve physical strength, flexibility and posture, and enhance mental awareness.
The classes are structured to slowly warm up your core, moving into exercises that stretch and strengthen muscles. Focussing on specific muscle groups at a time helps ground practitioners in their own body.
Pilates for Everyone caters for all abilities, providing mainly beginner and intermediate exercise alternatives. Work out to your own limits, push yourself, or ease into whatever level of intensity suits you.
Exercising by yourself is hard, being a part of a Pilates for Everyone class will help you come to accept, respect and push your body.

They don't have to be beautiful thin models, but grow in being able to love their bodies.
People come along for the first time and discover how wonderful they can feel. Pushing their body, strengthening it and getting it back in to alignment.
It locates me in my body, grounding me in who I am.
It's not about skinny, it's about strong.
People have such negative talk about themselves. Here they can see how strong they can become, how proud of themselves in their owning their body. Progress is a lovely thing to see.
It is fun, being able to laugh at where you are at right now. There's nothing wrong with being serious, but the best classes are when we allow ourselves to be silly with yourself and others.
